Module 1. Parents included

Without the cooperation between teachers and parents, it will be difficult to see children succeed.  An open school will invite parents not only on the school day or when organising an outing, but on numerous other occasions (even every day in the case of the youngest students).  There are no stereotypical ‘strict’ or ‘lenient’ teachers, or ‘complaining’ or ‘uninterested’ parents. Efforts are made so as to make sure that every parent feels good in the school and learns about the difficulties, but also achievements and unexpected interests of their children. This is impossible to implement during brief cyclic meetings with the parents. A more personal approach is needed.
